The spare tire is a permanently installed accessory and requires a new door jam sticker with the added weight (reduces available payload).

Somewhat surprisingly, they didn't update the load sticker on my truck when I got my spare from the service center.

Somewhat surprisingly, they didn't update the load sticker on my truck when I got my spare from the service center.

Not following procedure seems to be the real procedure at the service centers!

They made me wait for a week or two to get my spare installed because the new sticker wasn't in stock yet.
