This is a great explanation for that rattling. Thank you.

I have noticed less rattling noise when fully extended (highest setting) although this is not possible in on-road drive modes.
When it's below 40F there is almost zero noise. If there are any real perks to cold weather, it's this!

To have a quieter suspension you would have to replace the half-shafts with a low travel component and then delete the air suspension. If you never plan to off-road or use the lifting function, then it's needless noise. Pavement princesses need not apply.
Will the truck ride more quietly on broken pavement with the suspension set to low?

I still don't understand why most R1Ts seem to have loud suspension rattle from this design, but a few owners out there say they have none.
Just adding a +1 in the good outcome column;

I have a Gen 1 '24 R1T DM - my suspension was pretty noisy at 11k miles. I took it in for the jounce line chirp and mentioned the rattles - they did the jounce lines and the TSB on checking all suspension torque. (said they tightened a bunch of stuff, non specific as to what and replaced front jounce lines but no damper replacements).

It is 99% improved. Everything is solid and quiet. I am not sure if I just got lucky because it seems like many people are still having issues after having work done, but yeah, I am really happy with the result.

I've noticed that as well in high suspension modes.

Drove in a G2 dual last night around my neighborhood (which I know all the bumps and clunks from our G1). Same clunks and noise suspension as our G1. Short, this is still present in G2 cars.

I went over some very bumpy terrain in a G2 Tri at low speeds and it was whisper quiet. A slight center dash rattle, but that's it.

Also, another funny twist to this. Seattle Service Center consistently acts like they have never heard of, or had complaints about suspension rattle. They just sort of scratch their heads at it..."Never heard anyone mention this before." etc. etc. etc...
