Will new RAN charging stations have NACS outlets?

I am now wondering if the newly installed RANs will have the NACS outlets. Also, will the older RANs be retrofitted with NACS outlets?

on one hand, it wouldn't make sense to have them with NACS connectors since Rivian hasn't shipped out any adapters (as far as im aware) and Rivian vehicles with the native port won't be available till 2026. on the other hand, i could see them doing that for long term compatibility since their mass market vehicles will have NACS.

my guess, recently installed RAN won't have NACS. they probably have some amount of CCS inventory/contracts to go through and all the Rivian vehicles on the road are still native CCS. and once they open up RAN to non-Rivian vehicles, id imagine its more CCS EVs that will want to use it than NACS vehicles.

My guess is no on any existing RAN charger. Every Rivian up through the R2 will be able to charge at both NACS and CCS, so I don't think it is worth it for Rivan to change any of the existing chargers.

New ones may, but with NACS they may pull back on installing new RAN chargers since they now have access to a much larger charging network.

I would say they will switch over to NACS when they start delivering EVs with NACS and not any sooner than that.

Leave existing CCS1 and new NACS. When NACS vehicle start shipping there will me CCS1 to NACS adapters... Tesla already sells those for its vehicles.

Doesn't make sense for Rivian to go through all the expense of switching the cables out. New ones will probably have the new standard when they run out of the existing hardware.

Under current guidelines it would not qualify unless they had an adapter built in like the Tesla Magic Dock.
