First time chaging the R1T at an EA 350kW charger. I’ve been to this charger before with the e-trim GT and have gotten 240kW with it. It’s located On the north end of Richmond just off of I95. Temperature was perfect at 64F.
I showed up with 42% and was not expecting to get a good charge speed. Started off at 183kW and ramped up to 193kW and didn’t drop down till I hit 60% at that point it tapered to 160kW and didn’t drop below 100kW till I hit 70%.
I decided to unplug when the speed hit 80kW which didn’t happen till I hit 80%. From 42-80% took 24 minutes. No complaints about that.

Woah. Is this the closest any real world observed transfer rates have been to the 200kwh that Rivian claims?

That sounds like a vastly different curve from other experiences, so I'm wondering if it was part of a recent update.

That looks better than many others reported. Can you share your software version? Curious if they tweaked something or it is more related to the charger.

Care to share the exact address? As someone who frequently goes Raleigh to DC anything north of Richmond is going to be my friend.

A lot of the EA stations are limited to less than 500A. The one OP used obviously doesn't have that limitation.

Out of curiosity, do you have the underbody shield or no? Curious how this might affect rates.

Why would one have anything to do with another?

It’s a big thing with thermal mass right on the battery.
I'm not sure I buy that it would make that big of a difference, but I'm no expert.
