Somehow my truck is not part of this recall. My truck was in for service last week, Monday through Wednesday, I wonder if they just did this for me before the recall was issued

Hi Don,I just took delivery of my R1T on October 5th, Wednesday. It’s like, what the hell, they had my vehicle at the service center in Chelsea, MA.(Boston area) 2 days ago before delivery to my home. They could have fixed it then. ?
Being in MA I need to get an inspection sticker within 7 days of registration. They’re real stickler’s about that. They lock up my whole family.
Wished they would have gotten my sticker hen they registered it for me. Dealers usually do that for you. Guess I’ll have to ge

Being in Massachusetts I need to get an vehicle inspection sticker within 7 days of registration. I don’t know why Rivian didn’t do that for me.
Come Monday I’ll have 2 days to get a sticker or local police will lock up my whole family. ?. Ma. Is tough on this for some reason.
Anyway, it is what it is. Maybe I’ll get some kind of grace period. Be nice if they came to my home to do it. I’m about 1 hour and fifteen minutes away. I’ll have to call on Monday.
Good luck to everyone on this.
Yep, torque it yourself. simpleI got this handy cardboard box with my floor mats today, just in time to check this bolt situation. Found it easier to access the left front bolt from behind with the steering turned full right..... and it was not torqued to 90 ft lb. Already have service scheduled for next week so I'll have them check my "work".

Mine were well under 90...more like 10. Actually thought my 21mm socket wasn't on the nut at first.....but it was! Also this reduced front end noise I have been hearing by alot. I would call it normal now I think(except small half shaft noises still).I got this handy cardboard box with my floor mats today, just in time to check this bolt situation. very likely. I had mine done 2 weeks before the recall went out when they were out for something else. I turned the wheel while he tightened bolts so it went super fast.Somehow my truck is not part of this recall. It does not look like you need an appointment at the Chelsea MA service center. I am there right now for some other service but I see folks driving right up and getting the torque adjustment in a drive through line in the parking lot. It looks like the job takes about 10 minutes. Also got the email. On hold now to make a service appointment. These folks were probably hoping for a chill Friday night.
What was it at before you tightened it?I got this handy cardboard box with my floor mats today, just in time to check this bolt situation. I wonder if the trucks need an alignment after this?Mine were well under 90...more like 10. Actually thought my 21mm socket wasn't on the nut at first.....but it was! I have my appointment this week to officially have them factory torqued and logged.
What is sad is truck was in not too long ago for front end noise and they sent it back as normal. Too bad when suspension noise is noted, that a torque check isn't even performed as part of the investigation and instead it deemed normal.
Might be all in my head, but I think it might have fixed mine. I had a slight pull to the right and it sure seemed like is was gone on the way back from the service center.I wonder if the trucks need an alignment after this?
