Has anyone else noticed that when coming to a stop by regen, the hold that was once quite solid now allows the R1 to roll a little bit? I have noticed it on both flat ground and when on an incline (where it rolls backwards a couple of feet). Have started having to use the brake sometimes to get it to stop where I want it to. Feels like it all started within the last update or two.

Mine’s always had just a hint of “roll” depending on the angle of the dangle. It used to vex me but it’s like not even a gear tooth’s worth, if that’s even really an accepted unit of distance outside of Steamland.

Yea +1 sometimes it sounds like the brakes are slipping while it rolls a hint at the end for a couple seconds before hold locks

Yeah, same here. Hold does not work as well. Noticed it over the past week or so.

I noticed my hold doesn't work as well as my Tesla. Today on a downhill slope it just kept creeping forward till I had to put my foot on the brake to stop, then it would hold. First day driving it so I wasn't sure if this was normal or not.

The latest update really neutered the hold.

I thought it was just me. I prefer not to use my brakes at all (this was easy to do in Tesla) so it’s a little strange having to press the brake in the R1T

I suspect it's from trying to prevent unintended low speed sliding more. I'll gladly take that than it inducing sliding and not unlocking as frequently.

Absolutely. This may be their short term answer to a 7klb vehicle sliding at low speeds. Tesla maybe never had to solve for this?

I have this same symptom and it definitely occurs more often (noticed it again yesterday) on relatively flat surface. That said, it doesn’t really bother me at all but I wish it was consistent one way or another so I know if I need to put my foot on brake.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
I do very much hope that this is a precursor to a more functional “creep” mode, especially in reverse. It’s so jarring to get the car rolling slowly in reverse coming off Hold. A little nerve-wracking backing into my (admittedly tight) garage spot.

Whatever happens, I just want regen and hold behavior to be selectable options/modes.
I do not want a vehicle that emulates ICE driving, but completely appreciate that some people do, or have weather that warrants it.

I experienced this yesterday on a very slight incline for the first time ever...definitely a change......
