I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. I haven't used it yet but others have mentioned it on the forum and it seems like a good solution at a good price unless someone can say why it would not work?

It could work. But look at the cradle at the top of the jackstand. It's not a good interface for any of the puck adapters out there now. You'd need to either modify it or add/make an adapter so the lifting surface is a better interface to the bottom of the puck.

I have a setup using this jack, and it works fine:
https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/first-r1s-tire-rotation-diy-experience.13340/post-298229
However, my main issue with this method relates to how jacks want to move while lifting (assuming one corner or side is lifted). This is to keep the jack body or jack arm from twisting or bending because as the vehicle lifts, the lift point moves with respect to the floor. Some bending or twisting is o.k. but the forces involved can build up and cause the jack to move (sometime abruptly) on the floor, or cause your puck to lose contact with the jack. This can be scary or worse. The long suspension travel of the Rivian means quite a bit of lift is needed to get the tire to clear the floor for removal.

Wheeled floor jacks like the Daytona move as the vehicle lifts, and do so smoothly if positioned with this in mind. Much less scary. But... you generally need a separate jack stand (e.g. under a control arm). Since I either do 4 wheel swaps or 5 wheel rotations, I can get the job done quickly by lifting one corner at a time.

Anyone know what jack lift height I'll need to do wheel/tire swaps on the R1S?

The Harbor Freight Badlands jack is on sale today for $279 which I like. It goes up to 24.x inches. The blue Aluminum one is nice too but only goes to 19.x inches.

I'm getting the jack pucks so that gives it an additional couple of inches. I worry with the Badlands I can only use it on the Rivian since my other vehicles are lower (passenger car or sports car). I can at least use the 3 ton Aluminum Pittsburgh one on all my vehicles....if the 19.x inch height is enough.

I take what jackpucks.com (forum sponsor) on their site has a rough guide/clue. They recommend a Torin Big Red 10-ton bottle jack (‎17.63" max lift). If you get a jack that has equal or more lifting height, you'll be fine. The HF Badland is more than adequate (and possibly overkill for most users).

Using the Big Red, you must stack two pucks for the rear.

I believe others have said that with the jack puck you need a total of 24" lift for the rear and the 34" tire configurations.

There are members that used this jack that has a 21" lift on a piece of 3/4" plywood with the 33" tire configurations and they could do it.
However there are also members that did it without the plywood on the 34" tire configurations and it would not lift high enough on the REAR.

So 21" lift, combined with a jack puck is likely the bare minimum to lift the rear and it still may require a piece of plywood under the jack.

I bought the jack I mention in this post and also the 3ton Aluminum Pittsburgh you mentioned (which is like $185 cheaper than the badlands right now) .
I am not concerned about their ability to do what I need as I have 33" tires and I can always stack a puck if necessary.
The badlands looks awesome, but is way overkill for me.

If you are purchasing a floor jack, get either of these (I use the Daytona 24" Lift):

Daytona Low Profile 24" Lift (You need 21"-ish to get the rears off the ground)

If all anyone desires is a single puck, then our new XL (shipping the end of next week) is more than 2x the height of our standard pucks. Off-roaders, overlanders and people who wanted to do a road-side repair (even rear) asked that I would make one for them, so I did. Works great for a road side tire plug (nail, screw, etc.), so the wheel never has to come off the vehicle.

It is also magnetically coupled and has more than enough lift with either the Torin Big Red 10T or most floor jacks that have 19" of lift.

Assuming it's the same height as an R1T, I picked up a jack off of Costco that has a max height of 19.5", and I don't have to jack all the way to the maximum useable height (I'm using pucks, but not the JackPucks brand shown above--not because I have any reason not to; I just happened to pick up a different brand before I was aware of this vendor--but for what it's worth, I believe they're likely the same overall height as the shorter version that's been shown in these posts).
