The most interesting part of their data on this update is that zero vehicles on 42.2 have received the update.
As of Sunday morning ElectraFi is still showing none of us on 2023.42.2 getting the 2023.46 update yet. Weird. Has anyone *not* reporting to ElectraFi that had 42.2 gotten 46.0 yet? I'm really hoping I get it before the Xmas...currently planning a road trip and the route planning updates along with the lane change stuff would be really nice to have.

We are sitting on .38.0. The .46.0 update has been sitting in Opal's queue for three days now. We are still a little gun shy and are going to wait a bit. There are no great shakes in either .42.1 or .46.0 that we absolutely have to have.

Pure speculation on my part here, but think it's possible, after the challenges with the last update Rivian decide to "slow" the rate of invitations for future updates (at least at the start). That way, if something does go wrong, fewer people are effected.

Updated to 46.0 last night, drove about 150 miles today all on Driver Assist. No issues. Driver assist changes to support lane change were perfect for me. I will actually use it now. Great update.
Agreed I’m running the new software and the lane change functionality with driver assist is awesome. It’s so much better! Thumbs up!

I believe that my vehicle is stuck in a state trying do download the FW. My R1S is currently on 42.01 and in reviewing my Eero logs for the IP for my R1S, I found the following:
  • Friday -- Downloaded 3.2 GB mostly in one chunk
  • Saturday -- The vehicle woke up about every hour, and downloaded about 200 MB each time .. total for the day 1.8 GB
  • Sunday -- Same behavior as Saturday, wakes up ever hour or so, downloads about 200 MB each time .. total so far 800 MB
I haven’t seen this behavior before with previous updates, the vehicle will download the entire update package then the app will notify me of the update. I did also check the vehicle several times to see if the update was showing that the install was available, but no update is showing on the screen. Did a chat with service and they want to escalate to the download team. I haven't rebooted infotainment or the vehicle yet to give them an opportunity to analyze.

My reviews for the lane change update:

Home run!
Five stars!
Two big thumbs up!
Attaboy, Rivian!
Keep up the good work!

I’m hoping a near future update will keep climate control settings as set by the driver until he changes them, instead of having to reset for every drive.

Mine did the same thing. Downloaded 3.1gb. Uploaded 800 or so. I’m one of the people who
Had the infotainment issue last update so we might be on an odd branch.

I didn’t have the prev update issue, but looks like either service did something or the car gave up and redownloaded the package (4.8GB in one chunk). I was presented the option to update an hour or so ago. All updated to 46.0

I'd like a slightly different update prompt menu:
- Update Now
- Cancel
- Remind me in 2 weeks
How about these in place of a fixed 2 weeks?
- Remind me in (user selectable 1-14) days
- Remind me at home

How would I know something was downloaded or uploaded by my R1T?

The 2 weeks option will never happen; they want as many vehicles on the current OTA as possible so they don't have to support old versions.
