Mine has been parked outside in very cold temps in my driveway for 8 days now, 14 miles lost, or 5% total loss, or 0.6% per day. Gen2 R1T Dual Standard, latest update, everything off.

But I did take a peak at live cameras on 3 quick occasions (10 seconds or so), which probably took a hit.

Overall, seems a bit better than prior couple updates, given the temps.

2% a day is within normal limit per Rivian.

I'm really looking forward to getting the 2024.47 OTA update; Rivian support assures me it's coming soon and should be pushed to my R1T before the end of the first quarter in 2025.

Just joking. Not about not getting the update - I'm still waiting for it - but about when. Rivian support has no idea and keeps telling me it's coming soon.
Mine came shortly after we commiserated on that other thread!

My R1S is sitting in SoCal and I'm on top of the Alps starring at Mont Blanc with my Rivian backpack actually. Really nice day pack BTW. I "highly" recommend one.
Rivian R1T R1S Has your phantom vampire drain significantly improved with 2024.47.x software update? IMG_1109

I topped the Rivian to 70% and it dropped to 63% at the end of the first week gone. Then I got an update notice and did it remotely which ate 1-2%. I'll be gone another week so I'll see what happens. Gear Guard is always off. I have it set to charge and maintain 50% if it hits that while I'm gone but there's no keys or anyone to wake it during this test. I'm taking one for the team here...

If the update helps, it'll be the best Xmas gift lol

Here was a day the truck was sitting unplugged in an airport garage

And here was yesterday sitting unplugged in the garage which is below the living area. Proximity locking is off. Weird

Agreed. Is BT on via your phone for the second garage parked scenario? I ask because I beleive even when proximity is off there may be some polling going on with BT (nothing factual, just my hunch).

Parked outside at Denver airport for 7 days but left GG ON. Lost about 15% on .47. Gen 1 R1T. Temps were 30s to 50s. Curious to see what happens with GG OFF next time.

The Vampire drain was one of my least favorite things about my Gen1 R1T. The true miles / kWh was just way lower than the dash as it ignored the relatively significant losses.

Just left our Ioniq 5N for 10 days and its lost effectively nothing (no Gear Guard of course, but I did check it daily). This is our first long stretch leaving it and I’m impressed.

20024.47.01, mothballed in my garage, hibernating in shipping mode. Daily SOC loss fluctuates between 1% and at most 2%. Undisturbed. 2170 cells. According to Electrafi, daily drain is 3.11 miles/1.25 kWh or 0.13 mph most of the time.

Also hibernating, my Tesla Model S P daily SOC loss likewise fluctuates between 1% and 2%.
Then there is my beloved Tesla Model Y P. 2170 cells. It sleeps, sleeps, and sleeps some more, better than the proverbial baby. So vampire drain-allergic, daily SOC loss is 0% for days on end.

All EVs garaged, never left outside even for one nanosecond.

I’ve been gone for four days with 1% loss.
To be fair, mine sits in a heated garage all winter, when we’re not driving her. That said, six days gone and 3% is all I’ve lost. There’s definitely something up with the latest update.

I have not been keeping an average but have been monitoring my VD after each update. Mine jumped up with .39 with no reasonable explanation and hasn’t recovered since (just got 47.1 the other day but here is yesterday’s ElectraFi report). I’m still getting a ton of sleep/idle cycles that Rivian can’t figure out (waiting for my service appointment)

Do you have this data screen like below? For Tesla's you can see the 1 minute snapshots and edit whatever columns you want. It may let you see a pattern for your sleeps and idles. HTH

Yes, Bluetooth on when parked at home. The truck did 33 sleep and 35 idle cycles on the day before

My big reason for keeping track of phantom drain is while parked at an airport, or while snow camping at Mount Lassen. Iā€˜m not sure it’s cool to plug into one of two Level 2 chargers for 3 days at the Visitor Center
