All I see is these guys ($500) with the post adapters...or some of the options mentioned in the first post.

Just got my warning today - wrinkle...... I live in Puerto Rico and we have no service center here. Sooooo.....

I saw some people mention a battery tender as a way to make sure you can limp along, did that work? Willing to jerry rig pretty much anything to keep this rolling along.

I have to order batteries either from Rivian or Ommu and install them myself, period. So, hopefully I can clear the codes or whatever.

Question - if you can't clear the code but have replaced the batteries - do they function normally? I can live with that error so long as the truck starts and drives fine.

It worked for me for a few days, but that's it before I got my batteries swapped. Just left the tender leads hooked up and ran the tender wires into the frunk to be plugged in.

Funny enough, I was plugged into L1 charging at 8 amps overnight while the tender was on, and managed to get something surprising in charge (like 10%!) overnight. Normally I don't see that sort of charging on 120v even at 12amps. I guess the 12v batteries charging definitely do suck up a ton of power.

I'll add a pigtail and plug the tender in for any long parks once I have a place to charge at home again. Apartment living sucks....

Was seeing what DuoRivians went with, battery wise.

I am in your boat. Update and 1 week later..."Battery Issues". I am just leaving it plugged in at home. But will probably need to fix it prior to selling it.

My battery warning popped up last month and I managed to go a little over 3 weeks without any issue, but made sure to keep the truck plugged in to my wall charger whenever possible. A little after 3 weeks, I got turtle mode and a number of other error codes. A hard reset got rid of all those error codes for the time being, but I figured that meant it was finally time for me to replace the 12v. I replaced with the Ohmmu Sodium and all good so far. I expect the Ohmmu battery to last a lot longer than the OEM. I only got about 2 years out of this last one from Rivian and don't care to pay $500+ every couple years for something that is easy to DIY and much cheaper.

A quick battery test on the OEM 12v I removed confirmed that it was indeed cooked.

I tried a 12v repair with my NOCO Genius5 but that only made it worse.

If anyone is looking for a single Ohmmu 12v, I have an extra one for sale here (ordered 2 but only need 1).
