When it senses I'm stuck in traffic it should blast "Move Bitch" by Ludacris and roll the windows down.

This!!! It should absolutely be built in! The new model y does thisBecause I've been folding down the R1S second row of seats a lot lately, I'd love a macro that does the following:
I'm basically doing this manually now every time I need to fold down the second row of seats. In an ideal world the buttons in the back of the R1S would do this automatically, but I'd be happy if I could do it from the Infotainment screen.
- Records the current position of both front seats
- Moves them forward 6" (or an amount that could be set by the user - I don't want to squish someone who might be sitting in a seat)
- Hits the buttons to automatically fold down the second row of seats
- Then restores the seats to their original position
Ride height based on location pins.If you could have your Rivian change settings automatically based on certain criteria (speed, location, etc), what would you have it do? For those of you familiar with "macros," what macro would you run to make your life easier?
Examples:
- For Gen 1 owners, automatically turning on/off Conserve mode when you exceed / go below a certain speed.
- Opening/closing the garage door when you arrive to/leave your home.
- Turning on the rear vents for kids or dogs when you get in the vehicle.
- Turning on/off wifi or the hotspot.
- Change ride settings based on who is driving the vehicle.
Let's hear them!
Also...any interest in tying some of these settings to physical buttons, similar to the Tesla SEXY buttons? Maybe a dedicated liftgate or charge port button, or an actual HVAC fan knob?
100% on folding the mirrors. I currently use home assistant to trigger the garage automatically and it works way better than the Tesla or Rivian ever did because I can run a logic check on if the garage is already up or down. If we could just expose the mirror folding command in the API, Rivian wouldn't even have to do anything.I'd like the garage button to also fold my mirrors and activate my cameras.
I'd like the car to remember I always use the seat ventilation and never want the seat heater. It's annoying to have the a/c on, and push the icon...only to get a hot butt.
I'd like to program the turn signal so it is audible at highway speeds and not obnoxious at low speeds.
I could have used this today. Some ahole came flying up in the 3rd lane which was running out, merging down (with plenty of signage) into the second lane. I was in the second lane and had to slam on the brakes and veer right (while trying not to hit the car in the first lane) as he cut me off because his lane ran out. The Ahole then continued across the remaining lanes to an exit ramp lane cutting several other vehicles. Iām really surprised he didnāt hit me.. He deserved a sidewinder up his ass.Above 30 mph, If I slam on the brakes and the front sensors detect a vehicle within 10 feet, fire a sidewinder missle.![]()
Agree, check out the HVAC controls from a BMW e30 (88-93 for this layout)Cars reached the pinnacle of HVAC usability engineering in about 1991. It's been downhill ever since.
Here's the layout of my 1991 car HVAC controls:

Was he driving a jacked Civic? I saw something very similar two weeks ago where 422 East hits the 222N exit in Reading...I was in the rightmost lane because I too needed 222 north, except that I was in the proper lane to exit and not the leftmost of the 3.I could have used this today.
