Yeah, it does know where the car is. But where were was the car when you SET the schedule? And if you were home, did you have GPS reception at the time or is your reception blocked in the garage where you park?Yeah, I never looked at that. I guess I assumed that the app knew where the car was it would just follow the schedule.
SameSame problem as OP.
Schedule is set for 11pm to 6am, and it has my location as my home (and the little pin marker is within the circle.
I plugged the car in and it is currently charging

To clarify. I set my charging location while the vehicle was in the garage to where I am but it moved twice now. It needs to be outside, where I get GPS reception and then it stays even though the app had GPSYeah, it does know where the car is. But where were was the car when you SET the schedule? The main use case for a charging schedule is because you have time-of-use rates at home. This means scheduled charging pretty much HAS to be location dependent, because if it wasn't then you would never start charging anywhere in the world when you plugged in, unless you just happened to plug in during the scheduled hours.
How many support requests would THAT generate? People complaining about their Rivian not charging at their hotel, at their friend's house, at a Tesla charger, etc.
Completely clear out the "home" location & delete the charging schedule you have set up. Start over from scratch. Also, do this in the vehicle so it's awake and GPS has a lock on it.Update - based on info provided here in the forum i changed my charging location to where I am after I put the R1S out of the garage to make GPS was connecting. The did a full reset - didn’t work. Reverted back to wrong location and didnt follow schedule. Any ideas?
Not sure I follow the "completely clear out home location" instruction. (don't see how to do that). I think GPS was working in the Garage, but a previous reply in this thread recommended trying outside.Completely clear out the "home" location & delete the charging schedule you have set up. It's curious that GPS doesn't pick up your vehicle in your garage... GPS signals should be able to penetrate a standard residential roof...
