Curious- did your front suspension make the clunky sounds too?
Funny, you, john (on this thread too) and I all have our trucks at the Bellevue SC right now
I have some clunking (maybe more of a knocking), not horrible, I can live with it.

Now that mine is mostly sorted (waiting on a part) hopefully they can get you all done quicker!

I just got mine back from the Bellevue SC and they said my front suspension drop was totally normal. Also said that the rattling and clunking in the front suspension is totally normal, the thing rides worse than the 1990 toyota pickup I had years ago. Stupid for a 80k truck on air suspension to have that kind of movement. Kind of frustrated that they didn't investigate and disregarded all my claims. It still rattles and clunks over every little bump and still sags in the front.

That's just a crazy response. I got to spend some time over the past weekend with my 4runner. I am just amazed how well stock suspension handles everything. Rivian is sitting in the garage parked for the past 2 weeks.

Sad that Rivian considers this normal. I suspect many mainstream type buyers will find these noises and chassis resonances less than enjoyable. I know I can't stand it, and I get the extreme nature of the machine....still shouldn't sound like an old vehicle with bad bushings, bearings, ball joints, etc...

Update (hopefully the final one):
After almost 3 weeks at the SC, my R1T's suspension drop issue is resolved. In a nutshell, the front would drop as much as 66mm in 24 hours. It didn't matter what mode (including tire-change) or where it was parked. I came to the SC armed with a diagram of the vehicle with notes about exactly what sort of drop I was observing with other details to make it really hard for them to dismiss this as a "normal" behavior.

The fix: The first attempt was to replace a valve module. This may have improved things, but I got mixed info so I can't be sure. What seems like the real issue was, according to the service advisor, a "rolled" O-ring in a connection to the air tank. The leak was very slow and independent of "software" things so this makes sense. The invoice notes just say "Found leak at air tank".

BTW: All the other stuff went well. They did a few minor adjustments and fixes to body panels, and installed dark 20s.

I'm running into the same issue. I set it to High ride height in All Purpose mode and come back 48 hours later and the front driver side lost 100% of its lift and the front passenger lost 75%. The rears lost about 25%.

My leak, since it was only in the front, caused the rear suspension to extend. Your leak looks like it affects the whole system. I gave the SC a diagram to help with debug (like shown below). They appreciated the info.

I just dropped mine off at the Richmond SC yesterday. Will update when I get it returned. Interestingly enough, mine was primarily on one side (rear passenger)...that side dropped an inch an hour (same in any mode, tire change or not).

BTW: Mine was delivered this way so not an issue that developed afterwards.

5 minutes after I posted this, they called me back. The found the air block for the right side was leaking badly. They replaced and observed and said it is good now. They said a little drop after setting for several days is normal and the right side tends to drop a little more but mine was way out of normal. Hopefully this takes care of the issue.

BTW: This is my first service experience and it was exceptional. There were a few other small things which is listed and the resolution for each then looped back to see if I had any questions.

Thanks for the diagram. You've inspired me to do an overnight test. We'll see how much drop I'll get in 18 hours. Unfortunately I can't go 24 hours without driving.

That's great news that the found the issue. Did they say how long it took them to fix the issue?

Issues like this take a long time to fix. Each fix attempt took at least a day to chase and another day to fix. Add to that one more day to make sure the leak went away. Also, the valve module took several days to order. Basically the entire nearly 3 week wait was mostly about this one issue, the other fixes were basically done while they were waiting on the valve module.

Thanks, appreciate it. Now I know what to expect.

They didn't but I just dropped my car off Thursday 8a and they had time to observe and make sure it wasn't leaking when they called me at 4p Friday.

I did exactly the same as the ruler test above which is how I got the 1" per hour drop. I would recommend you put it in tire change mode which should keep the suspension from adjusting itself. I sent the summary of the measurements by hour for several hours when I submitted the service request (as well as some pictures of the leaking side vs not).

Like yours, mine wasn't uniform - for me it was very clearly the back passenger side. The truck look just broken after sitting for a few hours.

I did see Madgrey's comments earlier about his being chasing gremlins so fingers crossed it is fixed (I live quite a ways from a SC) but he did seem confident so my guess is it was leaking badly and obviously.
