As expected no VD overnight. Sitting at 135 miles which is the same as last night. Awesome way to protect my excess solar production now.![]()
Thanks for your posts! I also have a dual 12V battery R1T and was hoping to go the OBDII port route (just for ease of connectivity).
Have you been able to determine what happens to the secondary/passenger-side battery when charging via OBDII port? My understanding is that the OBDII port only connects to the primary 12V battery on the driver's side. I am wondering whether all the VD (wake up/sleep cycles) are using just the primary battery.
My alternae route would be to go with @NY_Rob's solution and wire up both 12V batteries for trickle charging.
