I recently got my R1S from repair ( the appointment for which in the first place took a long 4 months wait) for multiple issues one of them being- Dashboard wind noise. I don’t know what fix the SC did , wind noise insulation isnt any better now , but on the other hand, the driver side A pillar inside trim panel has loosened and dangles out ( Rivian service quality leaves a lot to be desired - not at all happy with its service ) . Now no matter which way I try to push it back in place , it’s doesn’t fit back in snug , any idea how it can be fit back in ( please see attached pic how it dangles out right now) . Next appointment at the SC is 4 months out so don’t want to wait so long if it can be pushed back in by myself . Appreciate any suggestions on this !

Since you have other issues, just include this to your ticket and let Rivian deal with it under warranty. They might even be able to do it through mobile service.

The car is just back from those earlier multiple issue repairs . It stayed in the SC for a month for that . While fixing those , looks like this new one got introduced, i created a new ticket for this now , but wait is 4 months.

If the service center is close by, I'd try stopping by. It should only take them 5 minutes to snap it back, unless someone broke the retaining tabs. You might take fresh cookies with you to grease the process.

From your description either a tab or two got broken or something is out of place, keeping the trim from seating properly. Can you see behind the trim to see what the obstruction might be? While not on a Rivian, I have seen the tabs broken or bent by an over zealous mechanic or a wiring harness getting between the trim and the structure.

I agree with the above. Just run back by and ask them to fix it. They’ll either do it in 5 min or order the part needed and have you come back.
