This is why all devices need their own RTC.This sort of thing has caused meltdowns on Tesla forums too. Just wait until you notice that they are also not in sync with the inside indicator, the front, or the trailer!
Why? They are all CAN bus driven, they are not just simple voltage. The lights all get a constant 12v to power them. Then there are two TTL lines at around 2.5v that send a signal instructing them to use the 12v to turn on. There's latency, and it's never equal.

Has anyone else noticed that some higher end cars that have LED turn signals have now started making the LEDs fade in and out as if they were incandescent bulbs? It's a pretty good imitation, but not perfect, so you can clearly tell that it's an LED impersonating an incandescent bulb. I guess they feel that the instant on/off of an LED is less desirable than the fading on/off of an old school bulb. Strange....They look totally in sync to me.
It’s just that the lower light is an instant on off where is the upper light has a fade effect.
???Nah, I picture the engineers thinking up ways to have MORE component tolerance to see how much they can fuck with OCD buyers.

Munro just twitchedThey should add a new, separate ECU to control the flashers.
