The seat calibration worked like a charm and fixed the seat back. For the past 3 weeks my seat back was like a recliner. Now, it's perfect.

My Tesla updates varied but I’ve had several in the 45-75 minute range over the 7 years I’ve had the car. My R1S seems similar.

Our 2021 Model 3 updates much quicker than our R1T has so far.. and they both share the same WiFi Access Point at the front of the house and both are within 20' of the Access Point.

I think once it tells you the update is ready, the software is already downloaded. The install is what takes the most time.

Biting the bullet today. Album artwork was stuck again so I pressed update out of frustration. Hopefully I don’t regret it.

My R1T updates are usually about the same as my previous 2014 Model S updates. Around an hour or so. I never had 20 minute updates with the model S. Maybe the Model 3 has faster CPU/hard drive or just doesn't require as much updating.

Took the plunge and accepted the .22 update this morning... between 30-40 min total time best I can determine.

Will try the A/C later on this afternoon.. fingers crossed!

I had no issues this morning but was only in the 70's in Denver. I may try to do a test later this weekend when I let it sit out in the sun, get super hot, and see what the compressor does!

So no AC issue after my update but it did fix my Alexa issue. Alexa has never worked in the almost year of my ownership and has always been grayed out despite being parked, resets, etc. This update fixed it and I’m using Alexa for the first time and it’s actually nice to have voice commands to things. Also now my navigation actually gives me voice directions which you don’t get without Alexa.

Super weird, I never had a nav voice that gave me directions. Checked every setting and couldn’t get it. Maybe this update patched a lot of things that needed fixes in my truck.

Wow, the navigation trip planner in the app is terrible compared to ABRP app/website. Completely different info and routing.

If you haven't yet, make sure to delete the Rivian as the selected vehicle in ABRP and re-add it. They've improved the modeling for all Rivian models/trims/options and it might yield results closer to what the Rivian app/truck are doing.
