Is it possible to convert Bluetooth speaker slot into a storage?

Rivian doesn't really provide enough storage space in the cabin specially the front row. I've never used the bluetooth speaker and I don't think there will be anytime soon that I will be using it. The question is is it possible to convert this into a storage? I would like to just toss out the speaker and make that space into a little storage bin. Has anyone done that?

Aside from the 3rd party stuff already mentioned, RJ said they are working on a storage solution so expect that s0ooo0n.

IMHO I think they got too cute by making bluetooth speaker and tire inflator as standard option. (I think I can live with the flash light) I never use the speaker nor the inflator. It's much easier to carry portable inflator than managing the long tube from back of the truck. In that regard Ford Lightning has done a better job providing more useful/functional accessories.

Any chance you make a version that has a more closed up front to keep stuff from falling out? I tend to carry way too much stuff and would like to have a 5 sided box to hold it all in. If you have a version like that, I'd commit to purchase one. Thanks for the consideration!!!

I recommend. And no, don't close up the front! @1LUCKY1 it's great as is, you'll find it's easier to reach in and grab things that you'd normally fumble from the center console.

The front piece is a little taller than what is shown in the Etsy glamor shots. Still easy to grab things, but tall enough so that items stay put when decelerating.

Hmmm, i feel like at this point we should take a camp speaker, hollow out all the speaker parts, and kinda make it into a tray... hopefully if the electronic parts that make content can still fake the truck out you could lock it.

Ultimately, would love Rivian to make a lockable safe type storage unit.
