Something that might be worth checking - do you have WiFi enabled? On my R1T QM it is turned off and even with the update I'm still only losing 1-2 miles per day (similar to before the update).

Definitely seeing more drain after the recent update. I had horrible drain early on (3-5%/day) then it gradually got better - 1% or so - and now it's back to 2-3% every day
We’re currently on a 7 day camping trip and the drain has been huge. It’s been about 6% consistently overnight (per 12hr period) while having outlets on to power an ARB Fridge and occasionally (for dinners and some breakfasts) an induction cooktop. Their power usage is minimal (when I plug in the fridge to a small EcoFlow the power draw is occasionally 50W). The cooktop is only a few hundred watts for a few minutes worth of cooking. I’m other wise powering everything else off. I’ve also noticed that Camp Mode seems to not work as effectively as it did before. It’s glitchy in that it keeps all of the interior lights on unless locked; I’ve had to turn off interior lights with settings, keeps gear tunnel and frunk lights on indefinitely while they‘re open. BT remains active and my phone will play through sound system when I invoke Siri or play music (have to manually switch it to Camp Speaker periodically. A hack against that periodically pickup my phone and playing music from it is switching the infotainment to radio mode to turn the radio off. I’ve also had to manually turn off climate control. I’ve caught it staying on unless I lock it while in the new Camp Mode. The new Camp Mode only seems to let me manage the displays being on or off.

I’ve had to pickup camp at least every 2-3 days to go charge back up to 100% (we’re about a 20-30% drive’s worth from a RAN) and it’s dictated our ability to explore and move around. On prior camping trips the drain had been about 2-3% for comparable periods of time (negligible).

Just to add some data and stir the pot, here's what 24 hours looks like on our R1T PDMM, unplugged at a moderate SOC, no GG or proximity locking:

I presume a good chunk of that is the system waking up to recharge the pathetically small 12v battery. I've actually got a Ohmmu Li-ion replacement 12v battery next to me here in my office waiting for time to install it, should be something like 3x the capacity. The $10K question is does the system have a passive voltage monitor to wake up the computers & HV>12v charger when the voltage gets low? Or is the computer programmed to just wake up every few hours and check because Rivian presumes the 'known' battery capacity and drain rate? TBD
What gives you the impression that ohmmu has any more capacity than the OEM battery? They don't publish any specs on their batteries. It's really suspicious and the Tesla guys have had long discussions and disassembled them without being impressed. Just more expensive.

On 3 camping trips, I am terrified to even touch the R1S while camping for fear of losing range and not getting out of a remote area. (Lassen NP and Sonora come to mind). I was seeing 5-10% loss per day while camping in May 2024, this included camp mode, leveling numerous in and out, of all doors, and limited HVAC.

I think the main advantage of the Ohmmu batteries is the low voltage cutoff protection feature offered by their built in BMS. It will save the batts from being permanently damaged if our vehicles drain them too much. The OEM batts have no such protection, so if a condition arises where the vehicle just keeps drawing from the OEM batts, they literally kill themselves from low voltage damage... and we've seen plenty of that over the years.

I'll see if I can detect a change in phantom drain after turning off WiFi in the truck.
Before I updated late on 15 Aug, my daily phantom drain was below 1.37 kWh/day. After the update, my daily phantom drain is well above 1.37 kWh/day. I've turned off wifi in the truck, and I'll see if my cumulative sum plot starts going back up again to indicate turning off wifi lowers phantom drain.

Not necessarily related to the latest update, but the SOC for my R1T decreased by about 6% yesterday. While the truck was parked the whole day, it was disturbed a few times as I loaded and moved items around in preparation for a drive to the Poconos today. The tailgate was also down much of the day, though the bed lights did not seem to be on.

That seems like a lot of energy consumed, on the order of 8kWh, roughly equivalent to driving 16 miles. Other than the lights, and the waking up periodically, what else would have contributed to that high level of consumption? Should I have engaged Camp Mode to help mitigate things?

If the doors weren't locked, the vehicle stays awake for extended periods doing, well.. whatever it does keeping itself ready to drive. Camp Mode probably would have helped as that shuts mostly everything (including the displays) off.

I wonder if this is a sign of a 12v battery near it's end of life...
It was for me, coincidence or not. Noticeably high VD with the vehicle sitting at home during a 6 day vacation, followed by a Replace 12V Battery notification in the app and completely dead car yesterday, despite charging and driving it for a day after returning from said vacation. Car still had ~65% SOC

Throwing out a few data points:

-I don't have the latest update applied.

-Jump start allowed screens to come on and unlock doors, but no charge port door, frunk, or passenger side windows.

-Weather was hot.

I don’t think turning off WiFi lowers phantom drain. The slope of the curve should have gotten less steep downhill.

Bingo, Camp Mode, not just for camping!

I wish the Rivian had a setting to not turn everything on when the doors get opened, just wait for me to press the brake peddle to wake up kk? Like, Permanent Camp Mode.
