2024.39 Update Rolling Out

Got the update… my battery seems to be doing weird things. Getting a red battery notification. Can’t schedule charging. Getting inconsistent max charges. Have done a hard reset already.

Also is turn off auto unlock at home not a feature anymore?

I updated a couple of hours ago and currently have scheduled charging going. Turn off auto unlock is still working for me at home.

Did reformatting work? This has been an ongoing issue for me throughout multiple updates. Usually resolves after removing the drive and reinserting, sometimes take full sleep cycle, or the occasional reset. But nadda this time.

I'm also having this issue - I tried reformatting the card and it still won't connect.

Connect + subscriber and oddly my wife who is the second phone key received a message this afternoon that the update was ready to install. Car was parked at my office so it must have downloaded over LTE. I didn’t get an announcement on my phone. When I got home I made sure WiFi was connected and thought I should be able to update in an hour or so since I’m on WiFi. Nope. The car had the update already. When I checked the app it said ready to install. Clicked install and nothing. It said waking vehicle but nothing happened. Tried again. Same thing. Then I locked the vehicle to “wake it up”. At that point the software update started and it took about an hour. After the update completed I did get a notice on my phone that it was done.

I just got the notification last night. I updated overnight. Seems like some good UI improvements.

Also, why can't we get %SoC on arrival displayed in the nav already.

Yes! Hate having to have the map screen up for this one tiny number in the bottom corner. Only piece of information I care about on the whole screen

My Gen 1 got the update. My Gen 2 is stuck at "Paused..." On wifi and mobile. I now have an appointment on Dec 13th. Lol no Halloween for my wife apparently.

I've had this happen once before with an update. I called service, they had me go to the vehicle, make sure there were connections, they worked with another department while i was sitting on the call, they cancelled my download and re-pushed and it worked. I'd just call service and you should be able to have it resolved quickly!

That’s a negative. Multiple reboots, soft boots, different storage devices. Drive Cam is now dead for me. Submitted a ticket to report the bug

Really enjoying this update, props for the updated UI! A compass, directions, streets, and waypoints can now be seen while also looking at a second tile! Super cool.

Updated mine yesterday. Update came through flawlessly. Like some of the new UI. I was hoping the Apple Music improvements would fix my bug, which does not play music (although you can search and select songs -- it won't actually play the songs, either from the screen or the steering wheel button). Sadly, however, that is still not working. I will do (another) soft reset this morning but not feeling hopeful. I've got a report in with service on this already.

Front camera park assist only worked once and now doesn’t do it anymore even after resets. Anyone else experiencing the same?

If they can see how ETA would be important enough to have it in the new map panel, then it is probably likely that most of us also care about our SOC upon arrival as well, and it looks like there is plenty of room for it. Of course, putting the ETA on the drivers display means it also follows to have the current time on the drivers display as well.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Gen2 was able to sleep more modules than the Gen1. According to ElectraFi, my truck stayed awake for 50 minutes after I walked near it. At my office, on prior software, it will just constantly wake/sleep every few minutes even though the truck is more than 50ft away. Maybe I'll get lucky and see that behavior stop tomorrow at the office.

So, this is what I'm talking about. The truck is showing that it's been idle, but NOT sleeping, for over an hour since I arrived at the office. I walked out to it without my phone and sure enough the radar detector is still on, which is a good indicator it's not sleeping. I would really love to know why this happens. But for now, this seems worse as it's not actually going to sleep at all.

Alternatively I'll see stuff like this where it just goes in and out of sleep mode all day.

How is this energy graph considered an update? The graphics are a little different? It’s still an opaque measurement, over minutes instead of miles, with the stupid 2mi/kwh as the default middle without in any way informing you what you’d actually need to do to get the rated range.

I think the old graph was better, but I can see why this happened. They're trying to spread out the info to conform to the new carousel box. I'd consult with owners and release an update on this down the line. It looks very cheesy.

Are you Gen 2? if so I think you got the same glitch I did. you will probably start noticing more issues as they present like no GPS, outside temp...
I have a service appointment scheduled to fix.

We did sign up for the annual Connect+. We are on the third day of the .39 rollout and we have not received an invitation yet. Most often in the past, we have gotten the update nine or ten into the rollout. We have never perceived this as a particular problem as we are comfortable waiting to see if there are any problems trending on the Forums before downloading.

I am curious to see if being a Connect+ subscriber gets me any priority for downloads.
