When my charge port door is open, is wiggles a fair amount. It’s fine when it is closed. How sturdy does yours feel when it is open?

I don’t either, but happened to notice this week and now it has me worried… has it loosened up, has it always been that way, is it normal?

My truck is over a year old and it has been great (overall). I will say a few panel gaps and trim piece wiggles have appeared over time… just not sure if this is new or not.

My truck isn't here and I can only assert that I'm certain it isn't going to be tight because there are tolerances involved in the cam follower that will allow it to still operate when it could otherwise get impinged from being dirty if they were too tight. When it's closed there are a lot more points of contact and it isn't extended on a loose beam

I don't believe mine wiggles, but I haven't really given it a good shake, either.

Yes it wiggles a lot. Seen it in both my Rivian's and the multiple loaners I've had. Not a big deal.

Mine seems to wiggle up to 1” at the outer extent when open. Relatively new truck…

Mine wiggles. And when it closes, makes a very loud popping/snapping sound as it mashes against the side portion of the lightbar (top part). It needs adjustment, and getting it checked out at next service visit.

Has the charge port door always clipped the light bar since you received the truck?

I don't remember it doing that when I first received it. Pretty sure that it started happening after major service work on misc body gap and alignment issues. I'm due for service next week, will.see.what they say.

Mine is a month old and there is some wiggle. I never touched it until yesterday but yes there is a decent amount of play. Will keep an eye on it but seems normal.

I didn’t/don’t have any panel gap issues around the charger point door either.
