What key do you give to service?

Service is picking up the truck tomorrow and was wondering if it best to give them the fob or card.

I've never used the fob and it already came little nick in the orange metal part. I hope they offer replacement surrounds at some point. Maybe even in other colors. It looks fairly easy to take off anyway.

My Service Advisor made clear to me to give them the fob.

FOB, both for service and any sort of non-Rivian repairs as well. I've got mine in the shop to fix a tailgate dent from a minor fender bender and they told me that they have to have the FOB, not other keys.

As a PSA, I had left the fob in the truck at the RSC but walking away my PaaK locked the vehicle with the fob in it.

They just called to make sure I'd be around for the pickup and said they can use the key card or fob. But did say it's easier for them to have the fob.

Denver told me they prefer the card when I was there this weekend.

Psa if you give them your card or Fob make sure it works when you pick up your vehicle. They all look a like and you might just get someone else's. Maybe they give you someone's R1S card for your R1T. ?‍ And you don't notice till a week later when you try and use it.

At the Chelsea (Boston) SC they asked for the card.

Given the variance in this thread I'd imagine that they can all accomadate both but may have a local preference.
