Corroding bolt near rear view camera bubble

Can someone post a similar photo to mine so I can try to figure out what I may be missing here? It appears there’s a bolt next to my rear view camera that’s corroding due to a missing cap or similar. Took delivery 10 weeks ago (and am in Florida so no snow/ice here).

exactly... that is the spray nozzle with the pinkish wiper fluid that looks kinda orange against the black plastic when it leaks out. Take a cleaner and maybe a toothbrush to it.

Everyone with an S seems to have that same gunk buildup from the spray nozzle.

Ah okay thanks all! I’m out doing errands and got nervous but had no way of cleaning it yet to examine further. I’ll clean it when I get home! Glad there’s nothing wrong!

My service agent said it was a known issue with no solution yet.

I took delivery of a new R1S in Costa Mesa, CA in early December 2023 and the vehicle had this same condition, literally at delivery. Pointed it out to my Rivian guide. Have cleaned it up several times since but keeps coming back though slightly less.

It is the sprayer for the rear camera. Wipe it off.

Damn, does the R1T have the rear sprayer and I've just never noticed? Mine gets dirty CONSTANTLY.

can anyone explain why the R1S has a sprayer but the R1T does not? and yes, they should have put it in the front of both as well.

Your left stalk. The buttons on the end. You can find this information in the manual as well.
