Does not appear to be comparing "apples to apples" when considering an R1S to a Gravity. Though advertised as an "SUV", the Gravity is clearly NOT a "SPORT Utility Vehicle", whereas the R1S is a true SUV that can go places, and travel on road conditions, that the Gravity shouldn't try. Looks like the comparison of Gravity should be with the likes of Mercedes, etc. The R1S and the Gravity have different "utility" and are luxury vs. sport. Want to impress the Valet at the Opera? Drive a Gravity. Want to impress and also have the freedom of the outdoors, towing, and recreation? Drive a Rivian R1S. Have kids, grandkids, or pets? The R1S is much better for this.anyone cross shopping or thinking of getting the Lucid Gravity? seems like it'll be a compelling option if starting price is at $80k.
i know it wont have much off-road chops but its pretty clear 95% of R1S owners dont go off-road so going to be direct competitor to the R1S and Model X.
