Awesome! Can’t wait for my service appointment in the next like 3 weeks to get them replaced.

I do still have the occasional clunks and creaks but the squeaking has definitely been my main negative about the suspension!

My VIN is in the first 4500. I will be putting in a ticket to have the jounce lines replaced next time I'm in. Thanks

The squeaking used to be my biggest complaint, suspension-wise. Now the rattling and knocking sound is my main concern. I could even probably live with the squeaky jounce lines. The rattling makes my truck sound like its about to fall apart at any moment.

I’d definitely submit a ticket with that video you uploaded and have them check everything on your suspension! The squeaking definitely sounds like mine but the other noises I’m not really sure what sounds normal and what doesn’t.

Both of you need to have these parts replaced:

Front Damper Module -LH
Part# PT00437091-D
1 $0.00
Front Damper Module-RH
Part# PT00437092-D
1 $0.00

JOUNCE SUBASSEMBLY - FR R
Part# PT01135762-A
1 $0.00
JOUNCE SUBASSEMBLY - FR L
Part# PT01135763-A
1 $0.00

Please continue to post here if you get them replaced, we need this info available to everyone so the SCs can't blow us off. My jounce lines were replaced and the chirping is gone, but my suspension still has the sound of 200,000 mile blown out struts.

Thank you for this. Its hard for me to tell if my rattle is damper related, or part of the well known half shaft issue. I can make a similar sounding rattle by shaking the half shaft back and forth near the drive unit.

it could be the half shaft.

Rivian should probably do a major recall on this, but it could add a sold $2000+ to the 100,000 vehicles produced. $200,000,000 would look BAD for investors waiting for cash flow positive.

I understand why they're doing this case by case and with some weaseling.

I get it, too. Just like the jounce lines. They aren't going to replace them unless you complain and demand it.

I also need confirmation without a shadow of a doubt that it is those dampers. Can we get a contact at Rivian to confirm this or will this stay "off-the-books"

This isn't my first rodeo with issues like this and manufacturers.

Well now all your squeaky creaky trucks got me worried I'm either completely missing the noise or it's going to start at 60,001 miles. I'm at 52k now and likely to hit 60k before spring.

Any suggestions on things to stuff into the jousting lines to make them squeak before my September appointment?

I wonder how much of the issue depends on the pressure in your lines. It might only effect the vehicles with higher or lower pressure.
